Kath Ferry - Chief Executive Officer

Kath has a very sound background within the network movement. She has been a CEO of the Bayside GP Network since 2006, and has been successful with initiating many new and exciting initiatives. She is an OT by training and has a strong clinical background. email

Leisl Jackson - Senior Program Manager

Leisl provides support and guidance to all the program and project staff related to quality and integrated service provision. email

       
Lynda French - Primary Care Nursing Project officer Lynda is a registered nurse and educator who aims to develop relationships with practice nurses and build the capacity of our primary care nursing workforce by assessing workforce and identifying gaps. She also offers support in recruitment, retention, and building of scope for practice nurses, through co-operation and integration with other PGPN programmes.email

 

Jackie Bange - Practice Support

Jackie provides practice support in the areas of practice accreditation, chronic disease management - heart disease, pap smears and practice managers network. Jackie is also part of the Collaboratives team. email

Jade Stubbs- Mental Health Program Officer

coordinates and supports the delivery of the PGPN mental health programs including the Access to Allied Health Services (ATAPS), the ATAPS Suicide Prevention and Perinatal Depression Projects, and coordinates mental health education and professional development activities. email

Suzanne Heppell - Mental Health Project Officer

Suzanne provides support to the mental health program in the areas of special projects focussing on perinatal depression and suicide self harm risk. Suzanne also is the coordinator of the CHAMPS Program. email

 

       

Yolande Maltman - Senior Mental Health Nurse

Yolande provides clinical support supervision and education to Mental Health Nurses in General Practice. Clinical Governance support to PGPN and clinical input to referrals and referral pathways. Collaboration with external services/resources to complement and support MHNIP. email

Louise will provide administrative support to the mental health team, primarily facilitating the ATAPS referrals. Please call Louise with any questions regarding ATAPS.

Ailsa Gregory - Primary Care Integration Project Officer

Ailsa Gregory - Primary Care Integration Project Officer
Ailsa's focus will be to build collaborative and integrated partnerships for chronic disease prevention and management between general practice and Peninsula Health Community Health through the development of business rules, referral & communication pathways utilising referral and feedback tools. email

Shareen Pearson - Aged Care Project Officer

Shareen facilitates the Aged Care Access Initiative (ACAI), linking with Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACFs) and investigating issues related to the medical management of the residents of Aged Care Facilities on the Mornington Peninsula. Shareen also coordinates PGPNs Accreditation.

Cleeve Charles - Workforce and CPD

Cleeve is responsible for Workforce issues, assisting GPs and practice staff with recruitment and offering support to GPs, registrars and medical students with the view to increasing the number of GPs in the Network area. The CPD program provides evidence based education for GPs under the standards of an accredited RACGP provider. email

Jane Spence

Jane is a pharmacist who works as a NPS facilitator. The NPS Service aims to assist general practitioner prescribing by providing quality evidence based pharmaceutical advice. Her NPS program consists of one to one educational visits with local general practitioners. email

       
Karan

Karan Kent - Indigenous Health Program Officer
"Close the Gap" aims to reduce the health disparities in life expectancy between Indigenous and non Indigenous Australians.

Karan's role supports this by encouraging GPs to sign onto the Practice Incentive Program Indigenous Health Initiative(PIP IHI ), whilst encouraging ATSI residents to regularly visit a GP to collectively reduce chronic disease promoting better health outcomes for all.email

Lisa Coppe - CTG Indigenous Health Outreach Worker

CTG outreach workers provide support to General Practice and their local ATSI patients in accessing and navigating mainstream primary health care services and programs, contributing to closing the gap in life expectancy. email

       

Rose Burns - Program Admin Officer

Rose has considerable skills in database programming and maintains the GP Network Information System database and PGPN website. She also provides a supportive role in the Immunisation, Diabetes and Mental Health Programs and is responsible for creating the Practice Health Atlas for practices. email

Fiona Clark - Finance Officer

Fiona provides bookkeeping services for the network and is also responsible for the provision of regular financial reports to management. email

       

Sally Guthrie - Administration/Events Co-ordinator

Sally is the network's Event Co-Ordinator and also assists with quality improvement activities, the CPD subcommittee and is involved in the production of the Peninsula GP newsletter. email

Jacqueline Martin - Administration/Reception

Jacqueline is involved in the production of the Peninsula GP newsletter, Peninsula Weekly Update E News and PGPN website. Jacqueline also provides administrative support to the program staff. email

       
Linda Biddle - Mental Health Nurse and Family TherapistLinda is a credentialed Mental Health Nurse and Family Therapist. She provides transitional psychological support to new residents and their families in residential aged care facilities. Linda also provides counselling therapy for 0-18 years under the MHNIP at Hastings. email

Neil Shaw - Mental Health Nurse

Neil is a credentialed Mental Health Nurse who specialises in Child and Adolescent assessment and treatment. He is able to offer at no cost, individual child, parent, family and group work in the form of CHAMPS program. This is an ongoing service via the MHNIP. He works at sites in Frankston, Mt Eliza and Rosebud.email
