The Continuing Professional Development (CPD) subcommittee meets regularly and plans the CPD activities for the Division. In most weeks from February to November at least one CPD activity usually occurs. Successful seminars on cardiovascular health, diabetes, IMIT, nutrition, dermatology and doctors health have been held in the past. Topics for the weekend seminars and weekday presentations are determined as the result of a CPD survey of GP members. The Division due to its strong CPD activities has been awarded the ability to award CPD points for its own activities by the RACGP.
