AGPAL's National Satellite Navigation Workshops will begin travelling to regional locations in 2012 to train practices on the RACGP Standards for general practices 4th edition. This session for GPs, nurses and managers will explain the current clinical practice & processes for dealing with screening and management of Bowel Cancer in the general practice environment.

or as a Category 2 activity - 12 points.

Outline: Practice engagement activities have highlighted a preference by some GPs and staff to access a locally facilitated workshop as an alternative to the RACGP online 6 hour module to meet the requirements of signing onto the PIP IHI. We welcomed your feedback and proudly offer this interactive Cultural Awareness and Safety Training workshop. This training session will be held on the 22nd March to coincide with the 2012 National Close the Gap Day. General practice wishing to utilise this activity to meet the requirements of the PIP IHI, will require at a minimum 1 GP & 1 Staff member to register & attend the full day workshop.
